BASLP stands for Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is an undergraduate course of 4 years. The BASLP course trains students to become audiologists and speech-language pathologists. They learn methods to treat, identify, and prevent hearing disorders in people. The students are also taught about hearing aids and technology.
The BASLP course consists of both theory and practical teachings with Audiology, and Speech-language pathology as primary subjects. In the final year, the students undergo internship and training for the rehabilitation of people who are suffering from speaking.
BASLP Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for BASLP admission 2021, varies slightly from universities to another. However the overall criteria or the requirement remains the same.
- The student should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as the compulsory subject from a recognized board
- Students from both mathematics as well as biology groups are eligible.
- They must have scored at least 50% in the 12th standard.
- 5% relaxation is offered to the reserved categories.

- Candidates who are going to take admission in WBUHS should have completed 17 years of age before 31 December 2020.
- In the case of admission to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, the candidates need to pass english as a part of their core or elective subjects in their 12th or equivalent examination.
